General terms and conditions – Geurts Massage

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all treatments, services, and appointments at Geurts Massage, located in Woerden. By making an appointment, either verbally or online, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

Treatments at Geurts Massage are only possible for clients aged 18 and over.

Geurts Massage serves Woerden and the surrounding area. Treatments outside this region are available upon request.



2. Purpose of the treatments

Geurts Massage treatments are focused on relaxation, recovery, and supporting the body. The massages are not medical or therapeutic in nature and are not a substitute for medical, paramedical, or psychological care. Geurts Massage does not make medical diagnoses.

3. Health and information obligation

The client is obligated to provide accurate and complete information about their health prior to treatment. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, medication use, and recent treatments.

If relevant information is not provided or is provided incorrectly, Geurts Massage cannot be held liable for any consequences.

If you have any doubts about your health, you are advised to first contact a doctor or specialist.

4. Responsibility and own risk

Treatments at Geurts Massage are performed at the client's own risk and responsibility, to the extent legally permitted. The client remains responsible for their own body and its physical response to the treatment at all times.

5. Liability

Geurts Massage is not liable for any damage, injury or complaints that arise during or after a treatment, to the extent permitted by law.

Geurts Massage's liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid out by the liability insurance, if applicable.

Geurts Massage is not liable for loss, damage or theft of personal property.

6. Appointments and cancellation

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

In case of late cancellation or failure to show up for an appointment, Geurts Massage reserves the right to charge the full amount of the treatment.

In the event of force majeure, such as illness, a suitable solution will be sought in consultation.

7. Payment and rates

Payment is due after the treatment, unless otherwise agreed. Geurts Massage reserves the right to change rates at any time. Price changes do not entitle you to a refund.

8. Hygiene

Geurts Massage adheres to professional hygiene guidelines. Towels and materials are washed after each treatment, and the treatment room and materials used are regularly cleaned. Hands are washed or disinfected before and after each treatment.

Clients are expected to maintain good personal hygiene. Geurts Massage reserves the right to refuse or terminate a treatment early if hygiene conditions require this.

9. Behavior and boundaries

At Geurts Massage, we operate professionally and respectfully. Inappropriate, intimidating, or unacceptable behavior is not tolerated.

If such behavior is observed, treatment will be terminated immediately and there will be no right to a refund. Geurts Massage reserves the right to refuse further access to the practice.

10. Privacy

Geurts Massage processes personal data carefully and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. For more information about the processing of personal data, please refer to the privacy statement on the website.

11. Complaints

Complaints about treatments should be reported as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days. Geurts Massage will take the complaint seriously and work with the client to find a suitable solution.

12. Changes and applicable law

Geurts Massage reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most current version is always available on the website. Dutch law applies to all agreements.
